Welcome to the month of February! Congratulations, you survived the start of the New Year! If this is your first month joining us, Band of Bloggers is a revamped version of the Order of the Odor, where we do a monthly chat about all matters of waxy things and life. We hope you join us in the conversations!
This month's question is: Now that we have settled into the new year of 2016, we wanted to find out what are your goals for this year (life, blog, work, travel etc)?
For blogging, I just want to be more consistent. I kept up some fairly consistent blogging for two or three months in 2015, but kind of fell off the bandwagon for a good chunk of the year. I'm hoping that this year I not only keep myself more active in the blogging world but keep track of more stuff in my life to share with you guys, whether it be nail art or wax or the life of a foreigner in Korea. I'm determined to keep blogging about Korea so I have something concrete to look back on when our time here is over.

Thank you, and have a great day!
Blogging is a must. =D I'm curious about the holidays in Korea, like which ones we're familiar are celebrated there, and which ones are big there that we've never heard of here.

I know Christmas isn't as big of a deal. It's a more religious holiday here than what it has become in the States. I was upset about this. Not many holiday lights/decorations to look at!
DeleteI know the Lunar New Year is a bigger deal here than it is in the States. The entire city pretty much shuts down for a couple days! Besides that I've not learned of any other holidays. I'm sure I will as time goes on, though.
Blogging is so fun I can't imagine giving it up again. There's some sort of blogging fire in my belly that I can't put out.
Love your goals Liz. And I am also loving your posts. What a great keepsake this will be of your time spent abroad and your life with Michael.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love being able to share this exciting time in my life with all of the lovely people I've come to know in the blogging world.
DeleteThis post hit me right in my heart. I love your answer and it inspires me to let go of the baggage and live more fully.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to following you in 2016!
I'm looking forward to your blogging journeys in 2016 as well, wherever they take you!
DeleteI love what you said, and how such a simple manifesto reaches deep into all facets of life. I wish you all the best with it. And definitely definitely keep blogging, I love hearing about your life in Korea!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the well wishes! I don't think I could stop blogging about life in Korea even if I wanted to. It's too fun and I'm already enjoying being able to look back and see how much I've already done here.
